What if we threw a bunch of useful primal tools at all the boxes?

Like all the medieval shit, gears, pulleys, ropes, twine, powder, oil, complex lock mechanisms, forges, torches, saws, mines, etc....maybe we could put the mines in the middle desert, claim they were there all along?
